Anyone of a certain age will know what this is. This is where things really started to get going; Atari were the market leaders and these consoles were becoming more of an everyday household object.
This ones been hibernating for many years and needs a power adapter, but like the Ingersoll telesports controllers I posted about recently, this is in remarkably good shape for its age. This one is the Atari VCS CX2600 (but not the Sunnyvale model) and probably from the early 1980’s.
Can you remember having to decide whether you were going to play on the colour TV in the living room or upstairs on the little black and white portable?
