I Love Handmade Books

During September I had an artists book project published in a new book by Charlotte Rivers“I Love Handmade Books: Timeless Techniques and Ideas for Beautiful Handmade Books” (Jacqui Small Publishing) and thought I would post about it here in time for you to add it to your Christmas lists!
There are some excellent examples of accessible bookbinding techniques by a wide range of bookbinders, including fellow blogger Becca, who also contributed a tutorial too!

This is a great book for beginners as it has a number of clearly illustrated tutorials (submitted by the binders themselves) and is also a good source of inspiration for those who want to explore different binding techniques.

I only appear in a small way, but I am humbled to feature alongside such an inspiring collection of binders, artists and craftspeople.

Please note that this book has also been simultaneously published under the name of ‘The Little Book of Handmade Books’ by Potter Craft – a different name and cover, but the same contents…
